In this privacy policy, we seek to explain to you in the clearest way possible what information we collect, how we use it and what rights you have in relation to it. We hope you take some time to read through it carefully, as it is important. If there are any terms in this privacy policy that you do not agree with, please discontinue use of our and our services. 1. WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT?

Personal data is collected to improve the experience of all GoodNeighbor Side Jobs users. We believe personal data is necessary to associate accounts with real members of communities. We collect the first and last names of users. We collect the city and state of residence for each user. We collect the street address of users that have access to the option to post an ad for a job they need done (not all users). We collect your email and password for Google authentication purposes only. We collect phone numbers from users who wish to communicate about a job ad posting. Your phone number is not shared with another user until you give consent via an on-screen prompt. We collect any other data users submit when posting job ads to our website or changing their personal profile information. User location is collected via user permission.

2. HOW DO WE COLLECT DATA?

Personal data is only collected if you provide it directly to us. All personal data will be collected via on-screen prompts that ask the user to type in and/or submit such data. Examples of such submissions include the sign-up process that leads to creating an account, editing your profile, and posting a job ad. User location will be collected via a location permission prompt. Users can accept or deny the use of their location.

3. HOW DO WE USE YOUR DATA?

Data that you provide to us is used to help you communicate with other users. When you post or accept a job ad, your data becomes associated with that job until it is deleted. First and last names are used to identify yourself to other users when you post a job ad or accept a job. Your city and state of residence are used to help you find local job ads, or post a job quickly with such information if you so choose. Your street address is used to help you post a job quickly with such information if you so choose. Your email and password are used for authentication purposes only. Your phone number is displayed to another user to facilitate communication if you allow us to do so via clear on-screen prompts. Your location is used to position the map feature of the app, with the goal of helping you find local job postings.

4. DO WE SHARE YOUR DATA?

Your data is shared with other users and/or non-users upon posting a job ad or accepting a job via on-screen prompts. We use Google AdMob and Google AdSense to deliver personalized ads to you in accordance with Google’s privacy policy. We do not directly share personal information with Google AdMob and Google AdSense. General usage data will be shared with Google to personalize your ads. Google AdMob’s SDK code is provided to us to serve ads to you. Google may collect your data via other third-party technologies. A user’s Android Advertising ID or Apple Advertising Identifier may be used by Google to serve ads. You can review Google’s privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy

5. HOW TO DELETE YOUR DATA

Follow these steps to delete your account and other information directly linked to your account in our database. Any information that you share with other users via job ad postings, accepting jobs, sharing phone numbers, etc. cannot be deleted since it would be detrimental to the integrity of our application.
Select the Profile tab from the home screen (far right, on the bottom of the screen).
On Android, tap the menu button (3 dots) in the upper-right hand corner of the Profile screen. Select “Edit info” from the menu options. On iOS, tap the “Edit Profile” button (upper-left).
On Android, select the “DELETE PROFILE” button, and answer the on-screen prompt to confirm. On iOS, tap the “Delete Profile” button, and answer the on-screen prompt to confirm.
